Task 1. Listen and read
- Introduces the pictures and the situation and asks sts to guess : ? Who are they?
 ? Where are they? 
Ex1a. Asks sts to answer the questions.
- Asks sts to read the dialogue again then have them work independently. 
- Allows them to share their answers before discussing as a class.

A. Oobjectives.

+ Pronunciation: - Helps sts how to pronounce “ed” / t/, /d/ and /id/

By the end of this period, students will pronounce correctly the –ed anding in verbs : “ed” / t/, /d/ and /id/ and know the meaning and how to use –ed and –ing adjs.

Draw sts’ attention to the difference in use and meaning between –ed and –ing adjs by analysing the example in the Remember box. 
* We can form Adj by adding -ed and -ing endings to some verbs:
